WORLD OF WOOD EXPANDS AMIDST RECESSION


OCONOMOWOC, WISCONSIN - Custom woodwork and design firm World of Wood Ltd. is expanding and has moved to their newly constructed showroom and wood design studio on Armour Road.

The office, showroom, production facility and warehouse are now located on the same site, producing a seamless workflow between sales, design, and production. The new showroom and office building was designed to both showcase World of Wood's products and provide an efficient workspace. The open floorplan facilitates communication between staff members and visitors can see at a glance how the company operates.

Although much of World of Wood's business is in the Great Lakes region, work crafted in Oconomowoc ships to residences and corporate offices all over the U.S. "We have a solid reputation which has made World of Wood a destination company," says company president Bob Erdmann. "While the scope of our work can be seen on our website, when visitors experience our work firsthand the choice becomes clear."

The showroom opens for business on April 1st, as new displays continue to be produced. The grand opening will be announced this summer.
